For purchase or access enquiries, contact [email protected].
2. What your purchase includes
Your purchase includes the MIA Starter Kit course, accompanying resources and access to the MIA Starter Community for 12 months from purchase.
Specific inclusions are those described at checkout when you purchase. Future courses, individual consultations, supervision and additional programmes are not included unless expressly stated.
This is a one-time purchase, not an automatically renewing subscription.
3. Price and payment
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars and include GST unless clearly stated otherwise. The current Starter Kit price is AU$68.50 including GST.
Payment must be successfully completed before access is provided. Payments are processed through our payment provider.
Contact us if your payment succeeds but you do not receive access instructions.
4. Access and technical requirements
You need a suitable device, internet connection, working email address and compatible browser.
Your account is for one named learner. Keep your login secure and do not share it with others.
Course and community access ends after the 12-month access period. We do not promise lifetime access.
We may perform reasonable maintenance or make improvements. We will not use these terms to remove material purchased benefits without an appropriate solution or any remedy required by law.
5. Educational purpose
The Starter Kit provides general education about using music intentionally in everyday activities and support settings.
It is not individual healthcare, diagnosis, treatment or emergency support. Participation does not qualify you as a music therapist or provide professional accreditation unless expressly stated.
Parents, carers, educators and healthcare professionals remain responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate, safe and within their role or professional scope.
Participation should be voluntary and responsive to the person's preferences, comfort and needs. Stop or adapt an activity if it causes distress or discomfort. Individual outcomes are not guaranteed.
6. Course materials and music rights
Course videos, slides and resources remain the intellectual property of MIA or their respective owners.
You may use the materials for your own learning and apply the ideas in your everyday life or work. You must not share account access, distribute course videos, resell materials or reproduce the course as your own training programme.
Downloadable worksheets may be retained after access expires and printed for their intended use with people you support, but not resold or distributed as a competing resource collection.
Purchasing the course does not grant rights to third-party music. You remain responsible for any permissions, licences and platform conditions relevant to your use of music.
7. Community participation
Follow the community guidelines. Be respectful and do not post identifying information about others, abusive material, spam or content you do not have permission to share.
The community is not continuously monitored and must not be used for urgent assistance.
We may remove inappropriate content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect members or address serious or repeated breaches. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to respond. Any action remains subject to applicable consumer rights.
We will seek separate permission before using your contributions as public testimonials or marketing content.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms.
We do not offer a voluntary change-of-mind refund guarantee. However, nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
9. Changes and disputes
Material changes will not retrospectively reduce the rights attached to an existing purchase.
Please contact us first if there is a problem so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by South Australian law, without limiting consumer protections or rights to seek assistance elsewhere that apply by law.
