Privacy Policy

Effective date: 20 October 2026

Who we are

Music Integration Approach (MIA) is operated by Creative Therapy Adelaide Pty Ltd, ABN 51 643 177 708.

Contact: [email protected]
Address: 247 Henley Beach Road, Torrensville SA 5031, Australia.

This policy explains how we handle personal information associated with the MIA website, courses, resources and community.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with MIA, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address and contact details.
  • Account and profile information you provide.
  • Purchase details, payment status and transaction records.
  • Course participation and progress information.
  • Messages, questions, feedback and community contributions.
  • Technical information needed to operate, measure and protect our services, such as browser, device and website activity information.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Please do not send payment card details by email or post them in the community.

How we collect and use information

We collect information when you purchase, register, contact us, use the learning portal or participate in the community. Our service providers may also collect information when processing payments or operating these services.

We use information to:

  • Process purchases and provide course, resource and community access.
  • Send receipts, access instructions and service-related messages.
  • Respond to questions and provide support.
  • Maintain a safe community and investigate misuse.
  • Improve our services and meet legal obligations.

Where permitted, we may send marketing communications. You can unsubscribe using the link in those messages. Essential account and purchase communications may still be sent.

Community privacy

Your profile and contributions may be visible to other authorised community members. A private community is not a confidential clinical environment, and we cannot guarantee that another member will not copy information.

Do not upload identifiable information about children, clients, patients, students or other people. Use de-identified examples and avoid names, photographs, recordings or details that could identify someone.

We do not need sensitive health information to provide the Starter Kit. If you believe such information is necessary for a support enquiry, contact us before sending it.

Service providers and overseas handling

We use HighLevel/LeadConnector for the funnel, learning portal, community, contact management and communications; Stripe for payments and fraud prevention; SiteGround for domain/DNS services and our normal mailbox; and Google and Cloudflare services for functions described below. HighLevel also uses infrastructure and communications providers, including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services and Mailgun.

Information may be handled outside Australia. HighLevel lists processing in the United States and India. Stripe has an Australian entity and overseas affiliates and providers, including in the United States and Ireland. Our SiteGround hosting record identifies Sydney, Australia, but SiteGround also uses international operations and providers.

Depending on the service or support required, providers also disclose possible handling in the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Colombia, Brazil and countries within the European Union or European Economic Area. Not every provider or location is involved in every interaction. Provider arrangements can change.

We disclose information where reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with law or address security and misuse. Some providers, particularly Stripe, also handle information for their own lawful purposes, including fraud prevention and legal compliance, under their privacy policies.

More information: HighLevel providers, Stripe privacy, Stripe providers, SiteGround privacy, Google privacy and Cloudflare privacy.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website, checkout and learning portal use cookies and similar technologies to support account access, payments, security and service functionality.

HighLevel/LeadConnector records website and platform activity, such as page views and interactions. The learning portal also loads Google Analytics. Cloudflare provides performance measurement and security services, and Stripe uses technologies supporting payments and fraud prevention. Google resources may also be used for fonts and sign-in functionality where available.

Depending on the service, information processed may include pages visited, referral sources, browser and device information, identifiers, IP addresses and interactions with our services.

Planned Google and Meta advertising tools

We plan to introduce Google Ads conversion tracking and Meta Pixel on our public marketing and checkout pages. These are planned tools, not a statement that both are currently active.

Once enabled, these tools may help us measure enquiries and purchases, understand which advertisements bring visitors to our website and show relevant advertisements to previous visitors on Google, Facebook, Instagram and their advertising networks.

These tools may collect or receive page addresses, device and browser information, identifiers, IP addresses and events such as viewing a page or completing a purchase. Google and Meta may associate this information with other information they hold, subject to their policies and your settings. Their processing may take place overseas, including in the United States.

We will review the notices, settings and any required consent controls before enabling these advertising tools. We will not deliberately send health information, private community discussions or information identifying children to advertising platforms.

Your choices

You can manage cookies through your browser and personalised advertising through Google's and Meta's account controls. Blocking essential cookies may affect login or checkout. Cookie and advertising settings may not stop every form of technical or security-related processing.

Further information is available in Google's partner-data explanation, Google's advertising controls and Meta's Privacy Policy.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online service can guarantee complete security.

We retain information for legitimate operational, accounting and legal purposes. We take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required, subject to applicable obligations.

Access, corrections and complaints

Contact [email protected] to request access to or correction of your information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity.

We will investigate complaints and respond within a reasonable time. If you are dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or obligations. The current version and its effective date will be available on our website.
